Blob Aliens

I always seem to do something else than what I plan to do. I was going to make some garden stakes but in the back of my mind was an idea I had since Pipyr's class last fall (picture of what I made in her class) so I ended up experimenting a little.
The new ones are not as tall but the base is more cartoonish blob. I will post a picture tomorrow along with some pendants/beads on cords! I have so many ideas for these little guys :) Maybe a few will be making their way on etsy by this weekend.

I've been working on the website a bit and came up with a new layout.

It isn't completely done but I think it is a big improvement from previous layout already.

Update

The farmer's markets have been going amazing for us so far! :) We sold a good amount of the focals/pendants on cords and hopefully get our new order of cords sometime early this week! It's fun to try to match our glass with cords. Sometime this week we will be working on some wooden displays for the markets since the cardboard ones are slowly falling apart. Also the cardboard ones don't do well in the wind and one of the markets is on a bridge in Nashua.

I have a few ideas for plant/garden stakes that I will be working on the next few days. I'll post pictures once they are out of the kiln, should be updating the blog more often again :) Also I am going to be working on some designs for a dreamcatcher.

Booth Setup/Newspaper Tomorrow

Forgot to bring camera to farmer's market on Sunday but took some pictures Thursday! Tomorrow we will be in the Nashua Telegraph newspaper!! WOOO :) I'll post a scanned copy and the link for the online version tomorrow :)

I started working on some boro rings so that will probably be added for the farmer's market on Wednesday in Peterborough that we just signed up for. That makes four days a week for farmer's markets once they all start.

Here is the booth from yesterday's market taken on Andrea's phone. I still have a few displays to finish for Sunday's market and will take pictures not on a phone.

First market

We got back from our first Farmer's market show :) It was a lot funner than the show we did a while back! No photos of the setup yet since we figured it all out yesterday and had a lot of work to do for finishing prices, etc. Also forgot the camera when we left today. Anywho we will get photos posted here next Thursday :) can't wait to go back. We are trying to decide if we are going to be doing more shows this year and which ones they are if we do more. Going to start listing a bunch of boro focals on ebay either tonight or sometime tomorrow.
